One of the earlier microscopes was made in The Netherlands, 1590, by two eyeglass makers: Hans Lippershey and Hans Janssen. Eventually Hans Lippershey was also one of the three men that invented the telescope as well. In the period after that, the microscope had been modified by Galileo Galilei in 1625, it took more than thirty years before it was really used in England, Holland or Italy. The microscope of Galileo Galilei was eventually more specific/detailed than the one made by Lippershey and Janssen.
